Ray Johnson,  author of The Good Life Guide to Enjoying Wine has long been admired for his friendly, down to earth approach to wine. He judges wine professionally for the California State Fair and Sonoma County Harvest Fair while serving as Assistant Director of the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition.

Ray makes his home in Sonoma County’s wine country, where he teaches, writes and makes wine.
 

Jennifer Elias founded TasteWine with Ray Johnson and acted as Co-Director until 2009. Elias is also the co-publisher and creator of WineSmarts, WineNotes, WineParty and several other popular games and guides that make learning about wine and food easy and fun. She continues to consult on TasteWine projects and events.
